Cardiac rehabilitation is a physician supervised program to help people recover from heart attacks, heart surgery, heart stenting and angioplasty.  Cardiac rehab is a nurse monitored program that assists people in improving their physical fitness, reduce cardiac symptoms, improve health and reduce the risk of future heart problems.

 

Pulmonary rehabilitation is a physician supervised program that assists patients in achieving optimum quality of life by teaching the skills necessary for self-management of their respiratory condition.  The program is a nurse monitored program that assists people in building strength, endurance, and fitness.

 

The diabetes education program offers one on one counseling by a certified diabetes educator for the person with diabetes.  Topics include diabetes overview, recognition and treatment of complications, monitoring of blood glucose, nutrition and healthy eating, exercise, managing medications and goal setting.
